Children's Fall Story Hour Schedule

Danita Scheirer
District Children's Librarian

In all the hustle and bustle to get the older children back to school, your preschoolers may feel left out.  They will appreciate something special for them, too.  Illinois Prairie District Public Library offers a program of story hours for preschoolers.  Beginning September 2, children aged three to five years old may attend any of the sessions of the eight-week program at any of the six branches of IPDPL.

Danita Scheirer, District Children’s Librarian, has planned a creative program which includes reading the children interesting picture books, teaching a craft, singing songs, playing games, and doing activity sheets.

Parents may sign up their child each week at any of the six locations for the story hours.  They do not have to be present for the whole series or attend the same location each week.  The service is free, but there is a maximum number allowed.

The following schedule will be in effect from September 2 through October 23:

September 2 - October 23, 2008

                    Tuesday Metamora 10:00am
