The Fall session of story hour schedule

It doesn’t seem like it should be time for fall activities quite yet, but Illinois Prairie District Public Library is ready with the fall story hours for the preschoolers.  Beginning September 2, children aged three to five years old may attend any of the sessions of the nine-week program at any of the six branches of Illinois Prairie District Public Library.

Danita Scheirer, District Children’s Librarian, has planned a creative program which includes reading to the preschool children, teaching a craft, and doing activity sheets.

Parents may sign up their child each week at any of the six locations for the story hours.  They do not have to be present for the whole series or attend the same location each week.  The library service is free, but there are a maximum number of children allowed.

Children ages 3–5 years are invited to attend
