Library Early Closure Notice

All IPDPL locations that are open on Thursday, May 8, 2025, will close at 5:30 PM for a staff in-service training event.  Branches will reopen according to their regular schedules on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Hoopla Service Update

Beginning May 1, hoopla checkouts will be limited to 3 per month for IPDPL cardholders.  This small change helps ensure we can continue offering hoopla to our community.  You’ll still have access to the full catalog, plus a wide range of other digital resources, free with your library card.  For complete details, please visit the Library News page.

Calling all Teens!  We need you!

Illinois Prairie is forming a Teen Advisory Board, and we need your help!  What is a Teen Advisory Board?  A TAB is a group of teens who offer program ideas, book recommendations, and more to the library!  

For this inaugural meeting, we will be spending some time getting to know each other, playing some games, having some fun,  . . . oh, and eating some pizza!  🍕

Register to let us know you are coming to our kick-off meeting!  We will be discussing plans for future meetings and program proposals.
