Due to the predicted extreme weather conditions, all library programs scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, have been canceled or rescheduled.  Library branches will remain open according to their regular schedules and are available as warming centers for anyone who needs a safe, warm place during the day.

University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener, Gretchen Strauch, is back to talk about hydrangeas.  With over 70 different species, there is a hydrangea for everyone! 

In this presentation, Gretchen will discuss:

  • Different popular hydrangea cultivars,
  • How to care for hydrangeas,
  • Why hydrangea flowers sometimes change color,
  • and more!
