Our annual Summer Reading Program has officially begun!  IPDPL offers three different summer reading challenges so readers can choose the challenge that best suits them:

  • Read to Me: for beginning and emerging readers (reading goal = 50 books)
  • Casual Readers: for busy readers without a lot of time (reading goal = 25 hours)
  • Avid Readers: for passionate readers who are all in (reading goal = 50 hours)

Metamora Temporary Branch Permanent Closure

Description

The Metamora branch temporary location, including the drop box, will permanently close at 5:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2024.  

  • No items should be deposited in the drop box located at 900 W. Mt. Vernon after 5:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2024.

  • All branch services, including library card issues and renewals, browsing, or hold pick-ups, will be unavailable from Tuesday, March 26 - Monday, April 1, 2024.

  • The drop box located at 208 E. Partridge St. will be open for returns beginning at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

  • The renovated Metamora branch at 208 E. Partridge St. will reopen to the public at 9:00 am, on Monday, April 1 (no fooling! 😉).
