Adult Supervision
IPDPL programming is not designed to be "drop and go" for children. Please have a parent, guardian, or another responsible caregiver present if your child is attending this program. Thank you!
Children Outdoors
Whenever possible, children's programming sessions will be held in outdoor green spaces, weather permitting. Please call the library at (309) 921-5074 if you have questions regarding any possible weather cancellations or alternate locations. In the event of inclement weather, sessions scheduled outdoors will be held inside the local library branch.
Bookies
The Spring Bay Bookies is an adult book club that focuses on literary and women's fiction. Readers who share a love of books and laughter are always welcome, but be warned - discussions are sure to get off the beaten path from time to time!
The Bookies meet on the first Monday* of the month at 6:00 pm at IPDPL - Spring Bay.
*Regularly scheduled meetings that fall on holidays when the library is closed are routinely rescheduled to the following Monday.

The Papercrafter's Workshop
The Papercrafter's Workshop is a place to gather for anyone interested in papercrafting of any kind! Whether you are a scrapbooker, a cardmaker, or someone who makes 3D objects out of paper and cardstock, you will be in good company with us! This workshop is open to paper crafters of any experience level, from beginners just starting to seasoned makers with years of experience!
Various papercrafting tools will be available for use for free, including trimmers, punches, and more. Bring your photos, memorabilia, embellishments, and supplies, and work at your own pace. Debbie Davis-Peshong will be on hand to guide anyone who would like help!

Stenciled Floral Greeting Cards
Spring is in the air, and so are the flowers! Celebrate the beauty of the season by crafting a one-of-a-kind floral greeting card to share with someone special.

Library Services
Copying & Printing

Copying & Printing is available at all branches. Copy/Print charges: $0.10 per side for black and white and $0.25 per side for color (i.e., a front-and-back black and white copy = $0.20). Oversized copies and specialty papers may have an additional charge.
Curbside Pickup

Have your books delivered to your car! Patrons may call the library from the parking area to ask to have library materials brought to them (within 15 minutes).
Faxing

Faxing is available through an online, digital fax service. Outgoing faxes are charged at a rate of $1.00 per page. The cost to print incoming faxes is based on standard copy and print charges.
Genealogy Help

Reference staff are available to help you find the items you need and assist you with your research. We can help you on the computer and show you how to use the library’s online resources. We welcome your questions!
Homebound Delivery

IPDPL is pleased to offer Homebound Delivery service to qualifying patrons in our service area. Homebound Delivery is available on a temporary or permanent basis, as needs indicate. Patrons (or caregivers) must apply and be approved.
Local History Collection

Our staff is available to help you find the items you need and assist you with your research. We can help you on the computer and show you how to use the library’s online resources. We welcome your questions!
Public Access Computers

Patrons may use desktop computers for free with a library card or guest pass. Computers use a Windows-based operating system and connect to the internet. Please see the Internet Use policy for details.
Public WiFi

IPDPL has free public wi-fi available at all branches.
Scanning

Document and photo scanning is available free of charge. Scans are made in color. Items may be scanned to a USB flash drive or can be emailed as an attachment.
Technology Help

Patrons can access additional materials and resources using the IPDPL Digital Library. Bring your smartphone or tablet to the library for assistance with eBooks and audiobooks, mobile apps, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, but scheduling an appointment in advance is encouraged.
