Level Up at Your Library is Here!

Our annual Summer Reading Program has officially begun!  IPDPL offers three different summer reading challenges so readers can choose the challenge that best suits them:

  • Read to Me: for beginning and emerging readers (reading goal = 50 books)
  • Casual Readers: for busy readers without a lot of time (reading goal = 25 hours)
  • Avid Readers: for passionate readers who are all in (reading goal = 50 hours)

Head to Beanstack online or the Beanstack Tracker app on your device to join the program and choose your challenge!

Earn your "Campfire at Camp Poison Oak" summer reading activity badge!

Gather around the campfire for lots of stories, singing, and silliness.  There will be magic and mystery; games and guffaws. Find out what creatures might live in Lake Poison Oak and help solve the mystery that’s been told by camp counselors for decades. No fear, nothing itchy or scratchy will be provided at the program!

Join us for this fabulous and fun program!

In the event of inclement weather, alternate locations for this event will be at Black Partridge Park in the picnic shelter or in the Meeting Room at IPDPL - Roanoke.  All registrants will be notified as soon as possible if there is a location change.
