The Central Illinois 'King' of Horror is back!
Get ready for a thrilling experience as Joe Chianakas returns to share his journey through the world of horror and young adult literature! Known for his gripping storytelling, Joe gained prominence with his debut novel, Rabbit in Red, which was featured in a horror box sent to thousands of subscribers worldwide. He quickly followed this success with Nightmares Under the Moonlight, a chilling collection of horror short stories, and the continuation of his acclaimed Rabbit trilogy with Burn the Rabbit and Bury the Rabbit.
In 2023, Joe launched a new young adult LGBTQIA+ series, Unveiling Aiden. The series is a departure from the horror genre and showcases his writing versatility. This year, he returned to his horror roots with Darkness Calls, the first book in a new series, The Pit of Darkness.
Joe will discuss his current and upcoming books, delve into the craft of writing, and explore the themes of identity and fear that permeate his works. A Q&A session, followed by a book signing, will wrap up the evening.
