Event Details

Nothing tastes better than fresh vegetables from the garden, but not everyone has a big backyard with room to grow.  Discover creative and practical solutions tailored for limited spaces, whether you have a balcony, a tiny backyard, or just a few pots on a windowsill.  U of I Extension Master Gardener, Gretchen Strauch, will share her expertise on selecting the right plants, maximizing space, and overcoming common challenges in small-space vegetable gardening. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gardener, this session promises to inspire and equip you with the knowledge to turn any compact area into a thriving vegetable oasis.
