Library Early Closure Notice

All IPDPL locations that are open on Thursday, May 8, 2025, will close at 5:30 PM for a staff in-service training event.  Branches will reopen according to their regular schedules on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Hoopla Service Update

Beginning May 1, hoopla checkouts will be limited to 3 per month for IPDPL cardholders.  This small change helps ensure we can continue offering hoopla to our community.  You’ll still have access to the full catalog, plus a wide range of other digital resources, free with your library card.  For complete details, please visit the Library News page.

The Illinois Prairie District Public Library Board of Trustees meets on the second Tuesday of each month, at 4:00 pm CST/CDT.  All meetings are held at the Metamora branch and District Headquarters unless noted otherwise.  These meetings are open to the public.
