Hoopla Service Update

Beginning May 1, hoopla checkouts will be limited to 3 per month for IPDPL cardholders.  This small change helps ensure we can continue offering hoopla to our community.  You’ll still have access to the full catalog, plus a wide range of other digital resources, free with your library card.  For complete details, please visit the Library News page.

Ditch the kitsch, switch your hitch, and learn to stitch!

Cross-stitching is one of the oldest forms of decorative sewing and one of the easiest to learn.  Even if you have never picked up a needle, by the end of this class, you will be well on your way to stitching like a pro!

We will learn the mechanics of cross-stitching and backstitching, practice stitches, and begin our first project - a simple flower design.  No prior experience with hand sewing is required.  All materials are provided.

There are no age restrictions for participating in this class, but we will be working with tools and materials suited for elementary-age children to adults.  Needles and scissors used in class will be sharp.  Children younger than 7 must have an adult supervisor present with them during the class.
