Special Weather Statement for January 23, 2026

Due to the predicted extreme weather conditions, all library programs scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, have been canceled or rescheduled.  Library branches will remain open according to their regular schedules and are available as warming centers for anyone who needs a safe, warm place during the day.

MTHS Finals Night Restricted Access

Description

Library access will be restricted due to the MTHS Finals Night event.

  • The Germantown Hills branch will close for browsing at 5:30 pm.  
  • Circulation staff will be available for hold pick-ups and book returns only from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
  • No other branches are affected.  Metamora branch will be open for browsing and computer access until 7:00 pm.
