Celebrate Valentine’s Day Early at Any IPDPL Branch

Love is in the air!  Kick off your Valentine’s Day festivities with Date Night at the Library.  This event is a fun, free invitation for couples or teams of two to put a new twist on date night by exploring the library’s physical and digital collections.  Date Night is self-directed, so couples can participate at their convenience.

How It Works:

  • Couples pick up a Date Night packet from the Circulation Desk. Each packet contains two cards – a “Great Library Hunt” task card and a “Library Double-Dare” challenge card.
  • Couples complete at least two items from each card, then return to the Circulation Desk to receive a Goodie Bag prize of chocolates, bookmarks, and more.
  • Participants will also be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card from Sheets Creek Saloon in Spring Bay, IL.

The Fine Print:

Date Night is free and open to couples or teams of two. At least one team member should be an adult, aged 18+. Participants do not need to be IPDPL cardholders, however, a valid library card from any area RSA Member Library is needed for material checkouts. Goodie Bag prizes are limited to one per couple or team, while supplies last. Drawing entries are limited to one per person.
