Our annual Summer Reading Program has officially begun!  IPDPL offers three different summer reading challenges so readers can choose the challenge that best suits them:

  • Read to Me: for beginning and emerging readers (reading goal = 50 books)
  • Casual Readers: for busy readers without a lot of time (reading goal = 25 hours)
  • Avid Readers: for passionate readers who are all in (reading goal = 50 hours)

Explore our new STEAM kits!

Embark on an exciting journey of discovery with our new STEAM kits!  Join us for hands-on experimentation with a variety of engaging activities spanning Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, all at your own pace.  Our diverse collection of kits includes Brainflakes Interlocking Building Discs, a Gears Super Building Set, Hexbug Nanobots, a PowerClix Magnetic Building System, the Squigz Suction System, and a Strawbees Building Kit.

Each week, a different kit will be featured at a different branch, rotating through all six locations until their tour concludes.  Following their journey, all kits will find a permanent home in the new Metamora Makerspace!  Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and curiosity!
