Our annual Summer Reading Program has officially begun!  IPDPL offers three different summer reading challenges so readers can choose the challenge that best suits them:

  • Read to Me: for beginning and emerging readers (reading goal = 50 books)
  • Casual Readers: for busy readers without a lot of time (reading goal = 25 hours)
  • Avid Readers: for passionate readers who are all in (reading goal = 50 hours)

Head to Beanstack online or the Beanstack Tracker app on your device to join the program and choose your challenge!

Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger hunts have been around for almost 100 years, but they are still fun!  IPDPL Scavenger Hunts are themed challenges that can be completed solo or as a group, and they are fun for all ages.  Scavenger hunts may be looking for things inside the library, or they may be searching the sights in your neighborhood or community.  Grab a scavenger hunt list and start looking today!

We are showing our love for YOU with our Heart-felt Scavenger Hunt!  We can heart-ly wait for you to give this Heart-Hunt a go!  Hearts have been hidden around the library.  Find them all for a chance to win a prize at the end of the month.  We know you will succeed because you are so sm-heart!

To play, pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the circulation desk and search the library to find each heart listed on the sheet.  Check off the hearts as you find them.  Once you have found all the hearts, return your sheet to the circulation desk.  Be sure to include your name and a way for us to contact you if you are a winner.  One winner will be selected from each branch at the end of the month.
