Library Early Closure Notice

All IPDPL locations that are open on Thursday, May 8, 2025, will close at 5:30 PM for a staff in-service training event.  Branches will reopen according to their regular schedules on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Hoopla Service Update

Beginning May 1, hoopla checkouts will be limited to 3 per month for IPDPL cardholders.  This small change helps ensure we can continue offering hoopla to our community.  You’ll still have access to the full catalog, plus a wide range of other digital resources, free with your library card.  For complete details, please visit the Library News page.

Old Settlers Days 2023

Come visit us on the Square!  We have:

  • Our Shredded Book contest - Guess the title of the book we have shredded to win a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card!
  • Freebies - Get a magnificent fridge clip or a bottle of water!
  • Information about the Metamora renovation, our temporary location, our annual Summer Reading Program (IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN!), and more!
