Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger hunts have been around for almost 100 years, but they are still fun!  IPDPL Scavenger Hunts are themed challenges that can be completed solo or as a group, and they are fun for all ages.  Scavenger hunts may be looking for things inside the library, or they may be searching the sights in your neighborhood or community.  Grab a scavenger hunt list and start looking today!

May the Luck o' the Irish be with ye!

March is the luckiest month to catch a leprechaun, but even seeing one of these mystical sprites is considered lucky!  Look high and low, and you just might spy some leprechauns hiding around the library with their pots of gold.  Find them all to decipher the secret of the Leprechauns!

To play, pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the circulation desk and search the library to find the leprechauns.  Record each leprechaun's letter on your sheet to decipher the message.  Once you have found all the leprechauns, return your sheet to the circulation desk.  Be sure to include your name and a way for us to contact you if you are a winner.  One winner will be selected from each branch at the end of the month.
