Library Early Closure Notice

All IPDPL locations that are open on Thursday, May 8, 2025, will close at 5:30 PM for a staff in-service training event.  Branches will reopen according to their regular schedules on Friday, May 9, 2025.

Hoopla Service Update

Beginning May 1, hoopla checkouts will be limited to 3 per month for IPDPL cardholders.  This small change helps ensure we can continue offering hoopla to our community.  You’ll still have access to the full catalog, plus a wide range of other digital resources, free with your library card.  For complete details, please visit the Library News page.

Please Note: As the weather gets warmer, Story Time sessions may shift from inside the Metamora branch to the Partridge Street green space directly across the street from the library or the picnic shelter at Black Partridge Park (weather permitting).  All registered participants will be notified by email if there is a location change.
