Illinois Prairie District Public Library is governed by an elected Board of Trustees.  The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees occurs on the second Tuesday of each month, at 4:00 pm CST/CDT, at IPDPL - Metamora, unless otherwise noted.

In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, all Board Meetings are open to the public.  Anyone wishing to address the Board during the Public Comments portion of the meeting should check in with the Board Secretary prior to the meeting being called to order.  Speakers must be recognized prior to speaking.  Their comments will be limited to five (5) minutes.  Speakers are encouraged to be brief.  The Public Comments portion of the meeting shall not exceed thirty (30) minutes in total.
