🧠 Ready to give your brain a workout?  Join us for brain games to exercise your mind and maintain or improve cognitive function and memory, and conversations on some key aspects of brain health - intellectual challenges, social connections, sleep, diet, physical exercise, stress, and more.  Have fun on your journey to a healthier brain today! 🎉

 

School Days

Every day, we are presented with opportunities to learn new things.  When we take on an intellectual challenge, we not only benefit from the new skills we develop, but we also increase the physical fitness of our minds.  Learning new skills stimulates the brain's ability to adapt and reorganize itself by forming new neural pathways and strengthening existing ones.   This increased mental flexibility can, in turn, help improve cognitive functions like memory, attention, and problem-solving skills.

In this session, we will discuss the benefits of challenging your mind while having fun with some school-themed activities.

Wits Workout

Wits Workout sessions are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month.  While Wits Workout is a series, each session is a self-contained, stand-alone program.  Consecutive attendance is not required for any sessions.
